From her beginnings in Toronto’s bar scene, to sell out audiences wherever she appears around the world, Miss Conception has audiences howling with laughter and leaping to their feet with applause.
Dragging Across Canada is Miss Conception’s newest creation, in partnership with Splash Events. Canada’s first ever drive-in drag tour, Dragging Across Canada offers audiences a fabulous evening of drag, costumes, live singing, comedy and dancing, under the stars at a drive-in theatre near you, and all from the comfort of your own car.
Miss Conception travels internationally and has opened shows for comedian Leslie Jordan (Will and Grace) and singer Lorna Luft (daughter of Judy Garland) and has worked alongside Tony award-winning actress Jennifer Holliday (Dreamgirls). Other credits include Second City (Toronto), being featured on ‘Queer as Folk’ and ‘Degrassi: The Next Generation', and having the distinction of being the first contestant on Wipeout Canada to ever run the course in full drag.
On the high seas, Miss Conception is in demand as a featured performer on ocean and river cruises alike, from river cruises throughout Europe (Spain, Greece, Turkey, Portugal, Prague, Italy, and France) with Brand G Vacations, as official Hostess for the Halloween Cruise with Aquafest Family at Sea, and as a resident performer for the Bear Cruise, Concierge Travel and Out Adventures.
When not touring, Kevin Levesque donates his spare time participating in fundraising events, raising money for the Toronto People with AIDS Foundation’s Friends for Life Bike Rally, his own ride in the annual fundraising bike ride from Toronto to Montréal raising $50,000. Kevin’s own charity fund, the Miss Conception Resident Comfort Fund with Toronto’s Fife House, has raised over $14,000 to assist residents in need of medication, as well providing bedding and other household items to help give them a new start.

Jezebel Bardot is Toronto’s French-Canadian drag star. Starting her career with impersonations of comedy tycoon Joan Rivers, Jezebel has modeled her stage persona around strong, inspiring women such as Joan Rivers, Brigitte Bardot & Dolly Parton. By day, Jezebel works in education and has a background in Sport Psychology & Physical Education. On stage this translates into Jezebel’s characteristic heart, wit, and striking athleticism. Just like a tall glass of fine French wine, madame Bardot serves full body, pairs well with meaty dishes and leaves a sweet aftertaste.
For the first 30 years of his life, Jai was a fierce, highly competitive and podium-placing athlete. As an early teen, Jai ventured into competitive artistic roller skating and at 17 was selected to represent Canada at the 1979 Roller Skating World Championship. From 1979 to 1991, Jai continued to compete globally and won both Silver and Bronze medals at the Pan Am Games prior to his retirement from skate competition.
The creative forces that drove Jai during his competitive roller skating years were instrumental as he continued to evolve his deepening artistic side. His creative desires took hold in 1992 and with the help of legendary drag icons, Chris Edwards and Trish DeWolfe, his persona Jodie James was unveiled to the world when she was crowned Miss Chaps Toronto.
In 1993, Jai decided to further develop his creative Producer capabilities with his first production, the Miss Gay Canada Pageant. For the next 25 years, Jai continued to build on his performance talents as Jodie James while further honing his production and event-building skills as Artistic Director of events such as the Toronto Unity Pride Festivals and the CANFAR signature event, Bloor Street Entertains.
With his heart deeply entrenched in his community, Jai immersed himself in philanthropic and fundraising endeavors supporting several local, regional and national Charitable Foundations. For a time, it seemed that Jai would begin to settle into a semi-retired life, occupying himself with travel and other worldly adventures. That lasted until 2012.
Under Jai’s creative direction and perseverance, SPLASH EVENTS INC. Canada was conceived and Jai immediately found himself back at the creative process, realizing benchmark events for the Toronto, Southern Georgian Bay, and Barrie areas. Jai brought a NEW level of sophistication to his event design and production while enhancing the guest experience who have attended the Georgian Bay General Hospital, Royal Victoria Hospital (Barrie) and Orillia Soldier’s Memorial Hospital, Town of Midland, and the annual smash hit show, The BIG WIGS, held at the Midland Cultural Centre.
The trademark stylings of Jai Crouch and SPLASH EVENTS have not gone unnoticed. Nominations and awards from the Canadian Event Industry, Business of the Year, and the Chamber of Commerce Award of Distinction have cemented Jai’s reputation as a premier event Producer.
These days Jai is busy evolving SPLASH EVENTS INC. Canada, expanding its repertoire to include a wider range of productions and major events. Jai’s eye for detail and his dedication to raising the bar continues to drive his energy towards new adventures.
